Description

This is another type you can use to confuse your friends. Ask them, is this a peach or a tomato? The fuzz is slightly less pronounced than the Wapsipicon Peach, with more meat to the flesh, making the edibility of Pink Furry Boar much higher. The flavor is almost as surprising as the looks, both sweet and rich, with decent production that pushes into the frost, but being a southwestern developed cultivar, the cold changes the fruit texture and flavor. The indeterminate plants do not sprawl out very much, covering the fruit set with leaves. Very good for a striped type, let alone the fuzz!?Developed by Brad Gates at Wild Boar Farms, Vacaville, California, who released it in 2007
